[Private]
Dorea came and went without a whisper. At least to me. Perhaps she was already gone by the time I arrived, and that would explain her silence.
After speaking with several people, I gleaned that this sort of thing happens with a frequency here, people coming and going without any sort of rhyme or reason, and I am certain she will return as others before her have, and so I will not worry. No sense in it, as it won't bring her back.
Jamie is taking this hard, my reassurances seemed to do little to comfort him though he said otherwise, and I believe her disappearance coupled with his incident are taking a harsh toll on him.
My opinion on his accident, I will just have to keep to myself, yet endeavor to watch out for him somehow.
But--having his company regardless of the circumstances was an absolute delight. He is still very much the young man I remember.
Still no word from Walburga, and I will not force my presence or my words on her if she wants nothing to do with me. And that does seem to be the case. The same goes for Charlus. I regret being a bit harsh with him when we spoke, but I just didn't want to listen to what he had to say. Too much to simply wave away with just a few simple words.
I lived on for many years without either of them, and I intend to do the same here. [ / ] </>

Thumbing through this thing for the past few days has done wonders for my disposition. I find that most of you are charmingly entertaining and have, at the very least, given me something with which to stave off the many hours of sheer boredom that seem to walk hand in hand with death and the afterlife.
And for that, pets, I thank you.
Though it is disheartening that none with whom I had a bond appear to have made this journey. My name is Pollux Arcturus Black, and I suppose the smart thing to do now would be to make this hideously coloured, oft times roaring thing useful, and meet some of you that have brought me such joy.
And relatives, of course, if any of you have found your way here.
